Dr Patrick Prendergast, the Provost of Trinity College Dublin is visiting Rwanda from this Friday 10th August to 20th August 2012. On the agenda, he will visit different sites such as the memorial sites of the Genocide against the Tutsi , the national museum, national parks among others.
Dr Prendergast will spend much time visiting the National University of Rwanda which has academic collaboration with Trinity College Dublin. This senior academic administrator has planned to meet students of Trinity College Dublin and University of Dublin who are carrying out a three month internship programme in Rwanda that they started in June 2012. The meeting with the Mnister of Education is also included in the schedule of the visit to Rwanda by the Provost of Trinity College Dublin.
